I remember "his" Tiger Moth G-ANOM and often wonder what became of it. I would wait for "the old man" at the fence while he flew with the instructor. I think his name was Jimmy Rose? and sometimes Rod Cobbet. I may have the names wrong as I was very young. Occasionally I would see the AA Dragon Rapide and the first of the Piper Tri Pacers. If I got really lucky I would get a ride in one of the Austers.
